Spreadsheets and forms

The easiest way to automate a template is inside Creatomate itself. There's nothing to connect and no code to write. You fill out a spreadsheet to make many videos at once, or you share a form so that others can make videos from your template.

Spreadsheets

A spreadsheet in Creatomate is called a feed. It has a column for each dynamic element of your template. Every row is one video. Fill in 100 rows, and you get 100 videos. All of them share the design of the template, and each one has the content of its row.

To create a feed, open your template and click Use Template, then Spreadsheet. You can type the rows in by hand or import a CSV file. When the rows are ready, select them and click Create Renders. When done, the videos are ready to download as a ZIP file.

Forms

A form is a web page with a field for each dynamic element. Anyone with the link can fill it in and download the video, without a Creatomate account. The design stays yours, so every video stays on brand. That makes a form handy for colleagues, clients, or anyone who needs a video without opening the editor.

To create a form, open your template and click Use Template, then Shareable form, and switch it on. You get a link to share.
